朵拉的父母感情不睦，成長過程受到父親好友K先生的接近與挑逗，對K太太也產生羨慕與妒忌情緒。但在她發現父親和K太太有曖昧關係後，複雜的情緒積藏在她的記憶與潛意識之中，心理因素導致朵拉半身失明癱瘓。
透過「醫療劇場」的形式，導演陳怡蓉展示佛洛伊德與朵拉潛意識之間的對話、以及朵拉戲劇性的病發過程，在觀眾掌聲中，朵拉成為了悲劇角色。故事最終朵拉能否真正痊癒？或這一切都是周遭男性的同謀與操縱？透過佛洛伊德的催眠暗示，我們將進入朵拉層層回憶卷宗裡，透過凝視夢境進入朵拉的私生活、情慾世界與潛意識。
